Biografi.

Geir Inge is dedicated to providing you not only with a memorable adventure, but also with a safe and informative experience. He has both the formal training and the practical knowledge accumulated from years of mountaineering in diverse terrains and on different continents.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports, Physical Education and Outdoor Life from the University College of Southeast Norway in the Telemark region of Norway, and has a post graduate degree in practical pedagogy. Additionally, Geir Inge is certified as a climbing instructor, activity leader in canoeing and kayaking, skiing instructor, and has received accreditation in a number of glacial and avalanche courses.

During his 2-year stay in Longyearbyen on the Norwegian Island of Svalbard, Geir Inge worked as a dog-sledding, mountaineering and glacier walk guide. It is, however, the many personal expeditions that have ultimately enriched him both as a guide and as a storyteller. Geir Inge has climbed the Everest up to the first basecamp, Mount Elbrus (Russia), and Mount Aconcagua (Argentina). Perhaps most daring is that he succeeded in crossing Greenland on skis at only 21, and biked from North Cape to South Cape, Norway. Between May 2014 and December 2014 he took on the challenge of living with only 3 other people on Hopen Island, where they looked after the Hopen Weather Station.

Join our Norwegian explorer on one of his trips to the fjords, and share yours and his exciting life experiences for an unforgettable hike.
